‘The Rewilding of Knepp Castle Estate’

An illustrated talk by Penny Green on the Knepp Castle Estate. These 3,500 acres have aroused intense interest and have encouraged a remarkable return of wildlife. Doors open at 7.15 pm. Admission: Members £2, visitors £3, under-16s free. Raffle and refreshments.

Bats, Glow-worms and Moths Evening

Popular annual event for all ages, led by Group members. FREE, but donations are welcome. Meet in car park by football pitches off Maple Drive at 8.35. Children must be accompanied by an adult relation. Bring a torch!

Children’s Safari

for children of primary school age. Ever-popular annual  event, including pond dipping, meadow sweeping, bush craft, live animals, games, etc. All children must be accompanied by an adult relative. FREE as usual, but donations welcome. Meet in car park and football pitches off Maple Drive for 1.50 pm, to be divided into groups and led to the activities site on Bedelands.
